About Tajweed Rules Academy

Tajweed Rules Academy (TRA) is an online Islamic academy dedicated to teaching the Quran in an authentic way as prescribed by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). TRA has been established for over 10 years with a global reach and with students of all ages, we believe you are never too young or too old to learn to read the blessed Quran!

We have a committed team of teachers who are all highly qualified and passionate about sharing their knowledge and understanding of the Quran. But we are more than just an online course, we are here to support, guide and teach you at your pace allowing you to develop your learning as you wish.

The founder (Neveen Essam-eldeen Mohamed) of TRA is highly qualified and has been teaching Quran online to non Arabic speakers all over the world. Her passion to share knowledge has led her to write her own books (Tajweed Guide to Read Right – part 1 and part 2) to support the learning of her students. These books are unique and a different way of learning tajweed based on Noor UlBayaan methodology. Encouraging the student to spell out each individual letter of a word to gain an in-depth understanding of how to apply tajweed rules. With progression the student will apply the same technique to verses in the Quran until they are at level where they can read with accuracy and know when and how to apply the tajweed rules.

TRA only mission is to educate and pass on their knowledge to anyone who wants to learn to read the Quran with accuracy and understand the Quran in its entirety.
